About a century after the enemies of Allah from the East & West conspired and wreaked havoc against the Islamic empire [i.e., the Ottoman Empire], total confusion prevailed in Muslim lands across the globe. Muslims are then exposed to all sorts of humiliations and molestations at the hands of the enemies of Allah from all horizons.

The creation of the illegal Jewish settlements on Palestinian soil [i.e., the so-called "State of Israel"] and the price our Palestinian brothers are paying for its creation, fragmentation of Muslim lands [as a divide & rule policy] which plants the spirit of nationalism in place of the Islamic tenets of Wala & Bara [i.e., to love who loves Allah & to be hostile towards who rivals Allah], Colonialism and others were among the painful consequences that the Muslims suffered at the immediate aftermath of the fall of the Ottoman empire.

Other tragedies that befalls the Muslims and by-far the most destructive towards Islamic beliefs is the adoption, by the Muslims, of Kufr systems such as Secular education, Democracy & imitation of the lifestyles of the unbelievers; viewing these as the most suitable way of life and the foremost: neglecting, mocking or criticising Jihad in the path of Allah. Secularization of educational systems [which encourage people to partially or completely deny Allah] & Judging or ruling with other than the Noble Qur'an [i.e., man-made laws] is unanimously agreed by all islamic jurists as a great disbelief.

The infidels thought their enemy [Islam] has been completely destroyed. Nay! The promise of Allah & His apostle is true; Jihad is still written in the Book of Allah & God-fearing scholars are still on the face of the earth and they refused to sell their religion with a worldly pleasure.

On the Authority of Zayd Ibn Aslam, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: "Jihad will remain fresh and green as long as raindrops fall from the sky. And there will come upon the people a time when Qur’an reciters from among them will say: "This is not the time of Jihad." So whoever comes to that time, then it is the best time for Jihad." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, would someone really say that?" He said: "Yes, the one whom Allah has cursed, and the angels and all of mankind."  (Narrated by Ibn Zamneen in Usoolus-Sunnah Mursalan, and narrated by Ibn `Asaakir Marfoo`an from Anas (R.A).)

We said to the disbelievers & their allies, whom Allah cursed, "Perish in your rage. Certainly, Allah knows what is [concealed] in the breasts [all the secrets]." (Qur'an 2:118)
